Luensman Overview Park

The park is a 70-acre overlook where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Erie, and on clear days can see the Canadian shore. Picnic pavilion, tables and grills are available. Interpretive easy grade 1 mile long trail through the woods. Great for a family outing. Open mid-May through Nov. 1 from 8:30 AM to Dusk. Free

Rails to Trails

Rails to Trails is a system of abandoned rail lines throughout Chautauqua County that provide cyclists and hikers the use of safe off road trails. The Alison Wells Ney Trail (5 mile segment) begins at Bliss Road, and descends the Lake Erie Escarpment, offering views of Lake Erie. Parking is available at Prospect Station and at Thayer Hill Road, Portland.
